Freedom from Pain

Five years ago when I first experienced a Brain Wave Vibration class, I was a person in constant pain. My lower back was sore all the time and I had started to have such pain in both knees that I was forced to limp and hold onto furniture to get around. I had physical therapy, which helped the knees. I also had acupuncture which helped with the pain, but pain was always there and probably I was not much fun to be around. When I saw the instructor and the participants begin a vibration practice I thought ¡°Looks easy! You can do pretty much what you want,¡± and I got started. At the first shake I must say had some pain. Gradually my condition began to improve. Now when practice, I have fun! I feel so much better now! I can move my body so much better and although I still have moments when my back or knees hurt, it is not controlling my life like it used to. I do almost anything I want now. Actually because of this vibration class I do things I never thought I would do!

I would like to add that toe tapping and intestine exercises have also been a big help to me. I use toe tapping to help bring my energy down so I can sleep. Intestine Exercises also bring the energy down as I learned about one year ago after my husband was struck with a sudden and very serious illness. When he was getting out of the hospital, I began to feel sick. The MD said it was post traumatic stress syndrome. It felt like I was having a heart attack. When I calmed down enough, I remembered I have tools to help at times like those. I began to do intestine exercises and almost immediately my head started to clear, I lost the dizziness, and I was able to carry on and take care of my husband. I would recommend Brain Wave Vibration to everyone.

A New Sense of Freedom

I originally took an interest in the book titled “Brain Wave Vibration” by Ilchi Lee when my father-in-law had a stroke at the age of 83. I was determined to help him to return to a happy, healthy life. Through the lessons that were taught to me in my Brain Wave Vibration class and through information contained in the literature provided at the Dahn Yoga & Healing Center in Alexandria, Virginia, I was able to better understand the mechanics of the brain and its relationship to the body.

Bringing the body and the mind back into a healthy balance is an important achievement for all mankind. Imbalances bring forth disease and emotional instability. Proper balance for the mind and the body provide people with health, happiness, and a sense of peace.

I am pleased to say that my father-in-law has returned to good health. Through my journey with Dahn Yoga, I was able to stimulate a natural healing ability within myself and a confidence in my path to being a better healer. After reading the book, I have taught myself how to manage stress. As I continue to practice the Brain Wave Vibration exercises, my natural physical vitality is returning and I am beginning to awaken the great creativity that lies within my heart and soul. I am a much happier person. I no longer feel the confusion and sadness that has haunted me in the past. It is a pleasure to see others heal and return to having a good healthy balance in their lives.

Accessing Inner Power

Through Brain Wave Vibration Training, I was able to connect deep inside to my true nature. The first time I did Brain Wave Vibration I could truly see myself. I was able to step back and see both fear and power inside of me. I could see the infinite potential and power I held and knew that I could choose how I wanted to live my life. I did Brain Wave Vibration training for 21 days and during that time I was happier and had a more positive outlook on life. I began to care for and about myself more, for example I asked myself what do I want and need more often. I gave myself more time, love and comfort. My thoughts were more positive and I was able to take control of them. I found myself more grounded during the day. In May I had the opportunity to do Brain Wave Vibration with Ilchi Lee. The experience was amazaing; I experienced so much peace and clarity. BWV helped me slow my racing thoughts and use my brain to create positive thoughts.

No more acid reflux!

When I first joined Dahn Yoga it was to improve my strength and health. I had been on medication for acid reflux for nearly 10 years. I wasn’t sleeping through the night and I would grind my teeth. Through BWV I was able to overcome all of it.

When I first started I thought “this is really weird, but fun.” So as time went on I was able to stop thinking and just enjoy the rhythm of my own body. Now I can sleep through the night and no longer need a bite guard. My appetite has changed, which was very unexpected. I don’t crave things and then binge like I use to do. When I do have a craving I thoroughly enjoy it and that is much more satisfying then over indulgence. I’ve been off medication for my stomach for 7 months. It only took 3 months for me to do that. My parents and Grandparents all suffered from the same stomach problems their whole lives. I thought I was destined for the same suffering. I have discovered the most wonderful natural cure in the world. And it’s so simple.

I used to get headaches for 3 days at a time and nothing I did or pain reliever I would take could make it go away. If I feel a headache coming on now, I know all I have to do is shake my head and tap my toes together for a few minutes and it goes away.

I think because my focus has gotten better, so has my memory. I can actually remember what I had for breakfast today and yesterday. I’m enjoying the benefits of being calm and relaxed all of the time. My teenagers can’t push me over the edge anymore, which has been puzzling for them. But they are also learning to relax and go with the flow.

I’ve shared this technique with my friends and they have felt the calming effect it has.

I attend Dahn Yoga center in Henderson, Nevada under the instruction of the center’s awesome Head Instructor. I have had the pleasure to see the progress with Ana’s daughter with Retts Syndrome (a must see video). Brain Wave Vibration has helped me gain mental, physical and spiritual strength in a short amount of time. It has opened me up to a whole new world of healing one’s own discomforts, pains and illnesses through changing the pattern of the brain. By creating new changes to the brain I can feel the difference in how my brain stem, when in better connection with my body and soul, can make a sizeable difference in the way I feel, and the way my body responds to all of life’s energy. Being a breast cancer survivor I am happy to say that, in my 44 years of life, I have never felt better since I have been attending Dahn Yoga and studying Brain Wave Vibration. Deep Brain Wave Vibration experience

This morning I went to my Brain Wave Vibration class and had a breakthrough. I was able to hold posture number four of the Dahn Yoga Energy Breathing sequence for more than a couple of seconds. This time I held that posture for a couple of minutes, and I was not expecting to be able to do that today. It was a miracle, but before we did posture number four, my legs were vibrating when doing posture number two, and I felt like I had a lot of energy and I could do it for a long time. After that we did the Brain Wave Vibration part of class. When I was lying down doing it, shaking and tapping my body, I felt my body very deeply. As I was shaking, bouncing, and tapping, I felt tension in the area of my liver and and energy blockage on my right knee. I kept moving faster and the tension in those areas decreased tremendously, almost as if they had disappeared. My lower abdomen became very warm, and I felt that warmth coming from my lower back area. During this time my head felt cool, and as I was shaking my head left and right I felt the cool energy come up from my back all the way to the top of my head. I started shaking more wildly and bouncing and shaking my legs and the energy continued to flow through my right knee and it felt like it was breaking the blockage. I focused very well on my body today, and I loved my body with a much higher love. More than I ever have before. I am becoming the master of my body. With regard to my body, this week I was able to get up and out of bed and go to every class and every training. I usually have to work on Saturdays, but this time I had the morning free. The weeks before I had had a lot of trouble getting out of bed because of soreness, but this week I was able to get up with no problem. I feel like I am ready to take more action and move instead of freezing, thinking, and feeding my ego. My awareness has reached a new level and I am forever grateful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Able to work again

The ligaments and tendons that hold my bicep in place were torn last year when doing pull-ups. Typing on the computer was very painful and I had to resign from my job. I had been out of work for about 9 months when I found the Leesburg Dahn Yoga center. I had been looking for a way to exercise without injuring myself, and I am very lucky to have found the Leesburg center. Elle, the head instructor at the center, is a marvelous healer. After the very first class I could tell that I was getting better. Now I can use the computer again, and I am working part time. I can honestly say that Dahn Yoga has saved me, not just physically but also emotionally.

Sitting Straighter

I start the special 21-day Brain Wave Vibration training at my Dahn Yoga center with a lot of tension around my shoulder and neck. The ankle that I had sprained seriously in 2006 also bothered me still. After the first week of training, I could feel my neck had loosened. I could do sleeping tiger posture better in my Dahn Yoga classes. During the second week, I could feel energy flowing around the back of my head. This was a very amazing experience. It seems like my brain became more sensitive. During the third week, my big toe was painful but also felt stronger. My spine straightened automatically during meditation time and my energy circulation became healthier. I cleared lots of stagnant energy. I’m very grateful for this great training.

Developing a strong physical foundation

I have always had a strong spiritual practice, but I recognized that I needed a more physical practice to integrate my mind, body, and spirit. My journey has included the process of overcoming the anorexia and bulimia I experienced in my teens and 20’s, and while I am light years away from that thirty years later, I do know that I must continue to love my body and embrace it fully. This practice is helping me do that.

How Dahn Yoga Changed my Life

I am so thrilled with the inspiration and health I have received from Dahn Yoga. I have multiple sclerosis and some days it is hard for me to walk. My legs sometimes cramp and the stretching and gentle exercises continue to make me stronger. I have attended Shim Shun training, have read the Brain Wave Vibration book, and attended numerous training classes. I keep my power bars in my pockets to help my walk better. My balance has improved. I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about Dahn Yoga. I have become a gold, lifetime member and I look forward to attending class at least three to four times per week.
