			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I really do not have much of a story. I have only recently been learning Dahn Yoga and Brain Wave Vibration from Miss Lee for about 3 weeks now. I can say it was nothing like I would have expected and I was a bit leery of the shaking and tapping of the body. I have several soft tissue damage areas in my neck and back. I was afraid at first that it may not be good for me, but to this point after 3 weeks of classes and personal healing sessions with Miss Lee, I have not noticed any extra damage to these areas. It has not stopped the pain completely, and I do not expect it will. I have had these injuries for about 8 years. What I can say though is it has improved flexibility in my damaged areas. Also, one other thing of note is that the people who attend and teach these classes are very happy and friendly people. I have never been one to be outgoing, but I have been told that since I have been attending the classes that I appear more bright ,cheerful, and energetic. I take these compliments at face value even though they are coming not only from my instructors and fellow students, but other people I meet and Western Medicine Doctors I have seen since starting Dahn Yoga. I can say this, I have noticed an increase seemingly in my own energy and reserves. If anything Dahn Yoga helps promote good and healthy living. It keeps your mind as well as your body reminded of what you can attain. How much better you can live and feel everyday. My ultimate goal is to attain a stillness of my inner being and to keep humility in my day to day actions and heart. I thank Miss Lee and all the other instructors for this opportunity to improve myself, and in so doing perhaps encourage others to improve themselves. Let the water fall begin to where everyone wants to improve themselves and others around them spiritually, mentally and physically without prejudice, coercion or compulsion. Just the want, the desire, to improve yourself and the world around you for others, as well as yourself, is I believe the first step to a new beginning for us all.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This morning I went to my Brain Wave Vibration class and had a breakthrough. I was able to hold posture number four of the Dahn Yoga Energy Breathing sequence for more than a couple of seconds. This time I held that posture for a couple of minutes, and I was not expecting to be able to do that today. It was a miracle, but before we did posture number four, my legs were vibrating when doing posture number two, and I felt like I had a lot of energy and I could do it for a long time. After that we did the Brain Wave Vibration part of class. When I was lying down doing it, shaking and tapping my body, I felt my body very deeply. As I was shaking, bouncing, and tapping, I felt tension in the area of my liver and and energy blockage on my right knee. I kept moving faster and the tension in those areas decreased tremendously, almost as if they had disappeared. My lower abdomen became very warm, and I felt that warmth coming from my lower back area. During this time my head felt cool, and as I was shaking my head left and right I felt the cool energy come up from my back all the way to the top of my head. I started shaking more wildly and bouncing and shaking my legs and the energy continued to flow through my right knee and it felt like it was breaking the blockage. I focused very well on my body today, and I loved my body with a much higher love. More than I ever have before. I am becoming the master of my body. With regard to my body, this week I was able to get up and out of bed and go to every class and every training. I usually have to work on Saturdays, but this time I had the morning free. The weeks before I had had a lot of trouble getting out of bed because of soreness, but this week I was able to get up with no problem. I feel like I am ready to take more action and move instead of freezing, thinking, and feeding my ego. My awareness has reached a new level and I am forever grateful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The ligaments and tendons that hold my bicep in place were torn last year when doing pull-ups. Typing on the computer was very painful and I had to resign from my job. I had been out of work for about 9 months when I found the Leesburg Dahn Yoga center. I had been looking for a way to exercise without injuring myself, and I am very lucky to have found the Leesburg center. Elle, the head instructor at the center, is a marvelous healer. After the very first class I could tell that I was getting better. Now I can use the computer again, and I am working part time. I can honestly say that Dahn Yoga has saved me, not just physically but also emotionally.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The first night after I learned how to do Brain Wave Vibration, I practiced it to rid myself from pain. I was asleep in bed, and had a severe muscle cramp in my right quadricep. The cramp would not go away, so I thought about taking one of my leg cramp pills. Then I thought that if I continued to rely on the pills, I would essentially be a slave to the pills because I would be dependent on them. I decided to try Brain Wave Vibration to see if it would help make the pain go away. I sat on the edge of my bed and shook my head from side to side. At the same time I imagined the pain from my legs coming up through my body and then leaving my body as I exhaled. After about five minutes, my pain in both legs was gone, and I was able to go back to sleep. I felt elated that I was able to stop pain with such a simple procedure.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When I started on my 21-day Brain Wave Vibration journey, I set up four goals. I felt confident that I would achieve them, but wasn&#8217;t sure if it could be done in 21 days. After attending class daily, I began to notice that I was able to allow myself to be happier and was trying to be more positive about life. I really started to feel stronger and healthier. I noticed that I didn&#8217;t want to eat as much junk food as before and that I wanted to try to eat healthier as well. One thing that I noticed had changed was that I was able to focus better on what I was doing. I am always easily distracted but now I find it easier to read a book and concentrate on what I am reading. I have also found that I can stop and take a break to feel the peacefulness of our earth. I was later asked to add three more goals to my list and I didn&#8217;t hesitate to make those declarations. Now that the 21 days are over, I plan to continue practicing BWV as part of my daily routine. The most important thing I want to do is teach this exercise to my children and husband. I plan on keeping them healthy, happy, and filled with my love.<br />

The ankle that I had sprained seriously in 2006 also bothered me still. After the first week of training, I could feel my neck had loosened. I could do sleeping tiger posture better in my Dahn Yoga classes. During the second week, I could feel energy flowing around the back of my head. This was a very amazing experience. It seems like my brain became more sensitive. During the third week, my big toe was painful but also felt stronger. My spine straightened automatically during meditation time and my energy circulation became healthier. I cleared lots of stagnant energy. I&#8217;m very grateful for this great training.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Due to back and neck pain, the only exercise I used to do was walking&#8211;with limitations because my sciatic nerve was pinched most of the time. In addition, for the last 6 months I have had plantar fasciitis in my feet which made walking very painful. Now, after guidance from our Head Instructor Ben on how to walk correctly (Jang Saeng Walking), the pain in the soles of my feet has disappeared, and thanks to the Dahn Yoga sessions the sciatic nerve has not been bothering me for the last three weeks. When I first began to walk to the Dahn Yoga center, it took me 45 minutes. Now I am able to walk very briskly and the same distance takes me 25 minutes. </p>
<p>When I first started practicing I was concerned about my lack of flexibility, balance, and the coordination of my body, but as time goes by I feel more and more agile. </p>
<p>An additional benefit is that I have lost some weight and for first time in my life, controlling my weight is not a great sacrifice, since my body doesn¡¯t crave food all of the time. </p>
<p>I still have some issues with my back, but I am absolutely sure that with regular training the pain will eventually go away. This realization is perhaps the most important benefit from DahnMuDo and Brain Wave Vibration: my attitude has changed not only towards physical pain but also towards emotional pain. I am not only able to control my body better, but using a few tips I have received, I am able to control my emotions better as well. </p>
<p>Lastly but not least, I found a great group of people who share the same objectives as I do&#8211;to have a healthier and happier life. </p>
