Hope in the Face of Multiple Sclerosis

Through her Brain Wave Vibration classes she was able to go from having shaky legs that couldn’t balance and walking with a walker, to walking just fine on her own. Even more than that, she found a more positive attitude and a sense of hope about her life.

Beating Multiple Sclerosis

I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and about 3 1/2 years ago at one six-month check up, my neurologist said that maybe doing Yoga would help my balance and flexibility? The very next day there was a brochure for Dahn Yoga on my porch. I call it divine intervention.

I went for the ‘Introductory Session’ and decided to join for three months. I have never been much of an exercise person, and wasn’t sure I could stick with it, but found that I loved it. I started to see a difference in my balance and the way I felt within the first couple of months, and my doctor saw a difference when I had my first check up, and every check up since. I always try to go to class at least three times a week, and more, if I can. I have been practicing Dahn Yoga for 3 1/2 years now, and my neurologist told me at my last check up that I will not be needing the shots for my MS, if I keep up my Yoga.

How Dahn Yoga Changed my Life

I am so thrilled with the inspiration and health I have received from Dahn Yoga. I have multiple sclerosis and some days it is hard for me to walk. My legs sometimes cramp and the stretching and gentle exercises continue to make me stronger. I have attended Shim Shun training, have read the Brain Wave Vibration book, and attended numerous training classes. I keep my power bars in my pockets to help my walk better. My balance has improved. I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about Dahn Yoga. I have become a gold, lifetime member and I look forward to attending class at least three to four times per week.
