Virtually Pain Free After Serious Neck Disk Surgery

Ten years ago, I was injured while helping my coworkers lift a woman who had a seizure. I ended up having neck disk surgery and a disk pin was placed in my neck. This was never comfortable, but then last year things really got bad. I suddenly started having pain all over my body, as though my entire nervous system were affected.

Eventually it got so bad that I could not function at work, and I was hospitalized for a while. I tried many drugs, including cortisone, but nothing helped much. Fortunately, the first day away from work, I happened to pass a Dahn Yoga Center. I had taken tai chi before and loved it, so I was interested in giving it a try. Because I was in such bad shape, I decided to take private healing sessions, which focused on Brain Wave Vibration as a healing method.

I experienced the benefits of Brain Wave Vibration right away. In the early stages, I felt like something was shifting in my body. I felt like my body really wanted to get better, and somehow the vibrations were helping unleash something from deep inside. With each session, I became stronger and stronger.

Now I am virtually pain free for the first time in a long time, and I am able to walk and enjoy my life as normal. Whenever I feel pain, all I have to do is take ten minutes to feel the rhythm of my own body. It has shifted my whole outlook on the experience of stress and pain in my body and has given me a real sense of control over these things. I think of Brain Wave Vibration as my “balancer.” Even other people have noticed how much calmer and centered I am. All in all, Brain Wave Vibration has been an awesome experience.

Body and Mind Healing Faster With Brian Wave Vibration

I was introduced to Brain Wave Vibration at the Cottonwood Dahn Yoga Center in Albuquerque, NM. After practicing for only two months, Brain Wave Vibration has become a powerful tool used to rid my body of stress and negativity while helping me focus on healing my back. The recovery time of my back injury decreased while my body and brain increased in strength. Now focusing on other personal goals is helping me to achieve personal success through Brain Wave Vibration. I could not be happier! My family loves to see my big smiling face after each class.

Healthy Living and Dahn Yoga Rid Me of Lupus

Ten years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus. While my physician wanted me to take prescription drugs, I refused. My doctor was very frustrated with me. I then read everything I could about this disease and began experimenting with different natural treatments. Three years later I was pain free and healthier than I had been in years. Because of my Dahn Yoga training, I have no signs of Lupus.

At a seminar, I spotted a booth for Dahn Yoga. I decided to look into Dahn Yoga classes offerings in my neighborhood. Through Dahn Yoga sessions, I learned the goal is to center yourself, to make you aware of how you can be healthy, and to create a sense of well-being. From books by the founder of Dahn Yoga, Ilchi Lee, I understand the ancient energy healing principles underlying the exercises. I learned how to listen to my body, rest my mind, and become more reflective and calm. Improved relationships with family and the community, and the spread of love are my outcomes.

Ken Burry’s Story

When I first came, my primary problem was lower back pain. A lot of it was through stress and just needed to get a little exercise and a little stretch. I think that if you’re starting to feel stiff and lack of balance and just feel fatigued and stressed, it’s a good way to relieve all of those symptoms. The atmosphere is fun, so it’s getting balanced and little of flexibility and strength, while you’re in a social atmosphere. It’s fun and I think everyone should do it.

No longer feeling defeated and weak

When I came to Dahn Yoga I had experienced great hardship and felt defeated and weak. Dahn Yoga along with my teachers dedicated and cheerful direction very quickly built up my strength so that I was more resourceful, powerful and energised than prior to my personal disasters. I would never have gone had I not been at such a low ebb.
I do not go to my classes any more due to shortage of funds and due to working away in Scotland much of the time.
I feel shadowed by the fact that I have never fully thanked or said goodbye to my teachers Rachel Nime and Anne Nime, in Shepherds Bush, London, but the doorways opened by them and the excursuses which I still do every day will be something for which I am deeply grateful as it has added great stability and allowed me to expand my mental and spiritual life whilst giving my body strength and youth.
