Vanquishing a Cold

I’ve been doing Brain Wave Vibration for a little over a year and almost every day for the past six months. Usually it helps me relax and clear my mind, allowing new ideas to pop up for things I should do.

I’m a fairly healthy person, but once in a while I get a headache or a cold and I hate to treat myself with medication. Instead, I use Brain Wave Vibration techniques such as the head nod method, whole body vibration, toe tapping, body tapping, or intestine exercises to clear the pain and sickness from my body. It is such a relief to feel my head and chest becoming clearer. It’s also a great opportunity for me to get in touch with myself again and see what’s going on inside. Too often I can pay so much attention to my work or to entertainment that I forget to look inside. But Brain Wave Vibration makes it easy.

Back to Basics

In this age of extreme complexities, it is refreshing to remember to go back to basics. Our urbanized lives marked by advanced technologies and busy schedules sometimes conceal the natural cosmic rhythms in which our bodies and souls are immersed. The practice of Brain Wave Vibration is a simple way to restore us to the Source and recover the natural flow of life. In his new book Brain Wave Vibration: Getting Back Into the Rhythm of a Happy, Healthy Life, Ilchi Lee lays out the principles of the dance energy that moves and is moved by our minds, and returns to the ancient wisdom of the healing power of rhythm. The exercises included in the ¡°Practice¡± section are easy to do anywhere and at any time, and are backed by the felt testimonies of practitioners who have benefited from them as the quality of their lives improved dramatically. As a Dahn Yoga and Brain Wave Vibration practitioner I can attest to the seeming miraculous power of these practices.

Feeling more peaceful and centered

My goal for my 21-day Brain Wave Vibration training at my Dahn Yoga Center was to get in touch with my true self. While I have not fully accomplished that goal, I feel that I made great strides in identifying the path to reach my goal and have gained the strength to allow me to follow that path.

My homework consisted of bow training, Brain Wave Vibration, an energy meditation called Ji Gam, and a variety of strength building exercises. While I did not feel that the bow training helped me that much, I think it did help me focus better for brain wave vibration and the energy meditation that followed. I felt very strong energy during Ji Gam, which made me feel that I was in touch with my true self. Ji Gam helped me identify many of my blockages and helped me make progress in releasing them. For strength training, I did the Sleeping Dragon posture, starting with 2 minutes and working up to 4 minutes. I also did push-ups, starting with 20 and working up to 55. It was very empowering to realize how quickly I could gain strength in just a few minutes of practice each day.

I always wish for peace and relaxation in my life, but feel that I never have it. My training helped me realize the importance of taking time every day to take care of myself, even if it is only 15 minutes a day. There were days that I did not feel like doing my homework, but I made sure that I got it done every day and generally felt much better for having done it.

I had not realized how greatly my energy was affecting the dynamic of my family. As I started to become more centered, I found that I was better able to deal with my family and they in turn responded more positively toward me. There was less yelling and more cooperation. My training helped me realize that I have the strength to make my life whatever I want it to be. All it takes is dedication to myself.

As an added bonus, I lost three pounds! While I was not consciously watching my diet, I found that I was making fewer trips to the candy jar as I released my negative emotions instead of holding onto them. I am definitely looking forward to our next 21-day journey!

Getting stagnation out of my life

Years ago, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and I was on a quest to heal myself with the help of an herbalist and others in the natural health industry. While succeeding in ridding myself of the tumor, I was not able to restore the energy that I once had. Brain Wave Vibration has been amazing for me! I have noticed a major increase in my energy, and now only sleep 5-6 hours most nights. I have a renewed sense of vitaility and a desire to do more. The biggest benefit is that I am better able to cope with the many stresses that I have in my life. And believe me, I have some incredibly difficult people in my life that just won’t go away. I do not become ruffled by the people and events that used to get under my skin. I can forsee that Brain Wave Vibration is a therapy that I will continue to use for the rest of my life.

Living without cobwebs in my brain.

When I lived in Tokyo, almost every week I visited a spa, got a message and relaxed totally — a several-hour treatment. This was how I got rid of what I call the “cobwebs” that stressful living spun in my brain to de-energize my body and cloud my mind. It was expensive, yet it worked. BUT only for a day or so. As I don’t live in Japan any more, I was thrilled to realize that doing Brain Wave Vibration training — at least once or a few times a day — produces the same basic results. Without the subtle weight of the cobwebs dragging me down, my natural healing, energy and positive attitude give me the physical and mental powers to live the vital and happy life I desire. It works, every time!

Hope for Colon Cancer Suvivor

One never knows where life will take you or what obstacles in life you have to face. In the early Fall of 2006, at the age of 50, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer and its repercussions. Six months later, destiny led me into the doorway of a new beginning. Yoga as I knew it just meant another type of vigorous exercise program. What my daughter Abby introduced me to was not only exercise for the body, but it was exercise for the whole body (mind, body and spirit). I vigorously and enthusiastically attended the Dahn Yoga program at the Henderson, Nevada center, and still do to-date. The benefits I have witnessed and attest to are real. I have discovered freedom from the enslaved life of illness. My illness flowed into my mind and spirit and I became a dormant (dead) living person. As an Active Teacher and independent Mother of four, I felt useless to the world until I discovered Brain Wave Vibration (BWV). I learned BWV simply by rotating my head side to side and front to back from my brain stem. It initially opened up energy vibration and stimulated the left and right brain lobes. Eventually, the energy that is flowing envelopes my whole body and the colossal, bright and radiant energy entering my body becomes mine and no one else’s. What I witness every time I do BWV is a euphoric unexplainable feeling. Its almost like the beginning of a new life for me. I can testify to pure, self-discovery of my own body. Well into my fourth month, I remember a jolt of energy reaping into my abdomen and I felt some muscle sensation. Even now, I feel great! I work with my daily stresses, my body is less tight, I¡¯m no longer fighting off depression, my muscles feel toned and refined, and I no longer feel fatigued and listless. My mind is alert and my memory skills are quick, as well as those for thinking and decision making. I no longer stress out with enduring headaches, and most of all I feel joy and happiness. I am calm and aware of my body, mind, and spirit. It is a must to continue BWV. I recommend it to the whole Universe.

Brain Wave Vibration can change your life

After living in many different countries for the last ten years, I arrived in Beaverton, Oregon from Shanghai. Although it has been a life of great adventure and challenges, I had not looked after my body and general health as well as I should have. Before I knew about brain wave vibration, I had my gall bladder removed, chronic gastritis, and lower back pain for many years, and it took a lot of effort each day to just keep the energy I needed. I was often very tired. I now practice Brain Wave Vibration every day and openly share it with those I work with as they have seen a drastic change in me. I take no medication and feel much happier and calm most of the time. Brain Wave Vibration helps your brain stop thinking, which we can do too much of these days. I did not realise I was thinking so much until I stopped. My lower back pain is getting much better and my back is getting stronger. I have developed strength in areas I did not know existed :-) . I have done many sports, yoga, and other activities through the years and this is the most effective way I have experienced to heal your body. I strongly suggest trying Brain Wave Vibration if you are thinking of giving up or have intense, chronic pain as I had. This is a simple, natural place to start no matter which walk or stage of life you are in. You only need to be able to gently shake your head from side to side and/or up and down. The rest follows…..

Brain Wave Vibration Expands My Conciousness

As I rotate my head back and forth, I feel bright, golden cosmic energy entering my brain–making my brain feel both bright and alive. In my mind’s eye I see this pure energy surrounding my brain stem, stimulating it to glow with golden energy. Then the energy flows from my brain stem to my spinal column and throughout the rest of my body. As I continue to rotate my head, sometimes back and forth, sometimes with an infinity symbol movement, I am in my pure mind. The distractions of thoughts, worries, etc., disappear. It is then that my consciousness seems to expand infinitely, helping me understand that there are no limits to the power of my brain. I have been a member of the Henderson Center since April 2007. Dahn Yoga has changed my life. I am repeatedly amazed by the benefits I have received from Dahn Yoga, and, particularly, from Brain Wave Vibration.

I can’t live without it

joined Dahn Yoga!!! Now what do I do??? Do I really have to go? But I paid for it!

What if I don’t feel any stagnant energy leaving my body?
Do I really have to keep my eyes closed during meditation?
I don’t know if I like this.

I was skeptical of everything but I really did like it and I kept going back.

I initially joined in September of 2005 to become more flexible. I had the usual aches and pains and I always reported them to my doctor. My knees really hurt at times; my shoulders hurt off and on, my back hurt in the morning. Five months later, February 2006, I am pain free.

Not only did I join Dahn Yoga for a three month trial – I have now joined as a Life Time Gold Member. I go every day that I am able.

I feel stagnant energy pouring from my body.
I wouldn’t think of opening my eyes during meditation.
I can’t live without it.

And I can bend over and touch the floor
with both hands for the first time in my life.
