Usually when I do Brain Wave Vibration I feel a lot of energy moving in my body. It starts from my head and works its way down. The one time I felt a lot more was just a few days ago when I took the Brain Management Consultant course with Regional Director Kim. I had shaking through my torso that felt like it was out of my control. It was a vibration that I didn’t feel like I brought on myself. And I had a very clear image of my grandmother on my right and my mother on my left. My grandmother recently passed away and I had been having trouble letting go of her. I also had a lifetime of anger towards my mother. Then I had a very clear image of my grandmother slowly floating away. I was watching her and I was trying to hang on. Eventually I wasn’t holding on anymore. Something made me then turn to my left and next thing I know my mother was right next to me. I don’t know when she got there. I automatically opened my arms to her as if I was accepting her and forgiving her for all the anger I’ve had for many years. And it’s probably just a start but I’ll take that and continue to do Brain Wave Vibration.
I was so happy that I became gold member within months after experiencing the Initial Awakening and Shim Shung workshops. I am feeling happy after many years of depression since childhood. My family has noticed a big difference in my attitude. Yeah yoga!

I am a caregiver for my elderly parents. It is quite stressful and impacts one both physically and emotionally on a daily basis. You never know what their needs are going to be on a day-to-day basis. I have found Brain Wave Vibration to be a most useful tool for alleviating my daily stress. It is a rather simple technique to follow. All one has to do is shake one’s head up and down and back and forth and after fifteen minutes of doing this I feel the stress flowing out of my body. One really doesn’t need to do it at a Dahn Yoga Center. One can do it at work or at home. I really wish that there was a way to get the word out to more people about this rather simple technique. Then more people can reap the benefits and society as a whole will become healthier. It is certainly not healthy to have all that stress bottled up inside. Unfortunately, most people simply do not know how to release it effectively. Stress most certainly leads to deteriorating health and a shorter life span. With Brain Wave Vibration society can live a longer, healthier, and happier life. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share this with you. I hope that after reading this passage people will experience the benefits of BWV for themselves.

Crack Fizzle Pop! Out came a soul glistening with blissful internal peace… Ready to Rock! My experience with the 21day Brain Wave Vibration training at my Dahn Yoga Center in Pasadena, CA was not an easy path as unforeseen events were tossed into my life. It threw me off course and left me dangling with a huge question, “WHY? What the Hell?!” During the first training event in October, I slashed my left toe with fragmented glass. It left me immobile for 7days. Not a fan of blood, wounds, etc., I felt paralyzed not just physically but way into the beyond from the pain of this wound. I couldn’t endure too much and just wanted to close off to take a breather…alone. So, I talked to the instructors at my center and they were understanding. “There is another opportunity next month again,” they said.

Then November came around and my wound was healed. I was ready catch up and start my training again from the 10th. On Nov 6th, I lost my brother (age 24) in a car accident. Then on Nov 8th my grandmother followed him and passed over. They were both living at my parents home, my grandmother in her last days suffering from cancer and my brother seeking acceptance and peace.

“What the HELL?!” I was angry, lost, confused, and traumatized. “THIS CAN”T BE REAL, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?!” It was painful…but I was grateful for friends who comforted me with supportive words and gestures.

I sought out help to get physical and emotional comfort by going to my favorite kinesiologist and a therapist. That helped in the beginning…but I still just wanted to forget about it all. I would go out to drink with friends until the brink of dawn….clubbing and “just having a good time.” That helped but was temporary. I had several messages from my Dahn Instructors by this time. Finally, after seeking support and trying to fulfill my needs from external sources, I realized that I needed help getting back on track by trying to heal from within. I showed up last week out of the blue for the Brain Wave Vibration training. The first day it felt awkward, and at the end of the session I felt sleepy, very sleepy. Then in the days to follow, my body started to connect, ignite, and remember the power from within.

The Head Instructor featured a video clip from Ilchi Lee that talked about death and that it’s just part of the process of transitioning to become a enlightened spiritual being. It was comforting to see it and it also confirmed to me that my brother was at peace and is Free. My heart resonated not only with this special message but also with the music from the Brain Wave Vibration training. So powerful and healing…music, message…my body, mind, and spirit freely captured in the RYTHYM. A few days later, during the training I was given a message, “PEACEFUL” and shown a picture of a long shiny Sword cutting open the shell of my dark self and bringing out a bright light. The training sessions felt shorter and shorter as each time passed…and easier to just step into the flow.

The final day, I felt as if I was with the flow of the music and at ONE. It felt blissful, peaceful, and serene. Somewhere and sometime between the last training days my anger and confusion dissolved. I have confirmation from within…MY body, mind, and soul…that everything is fine and at peace. I am again ready to ROCK! and to continue on my path. Gaining insight, strength, and gratitude from the recent events, I feel resilient enough to proceed to serve my humanity.

Thank you to my instructors and to Dahn Yoga for the opportunity to discover and share my extraordinary experiences from Brain Wave Vibration training. Whether that may be the community service of protecting and leading the way to a better quality of life or sharing and creating a much needed awareness of healing our planet…. it shall be done!! and So it is…

Last year in October 2007, I was urged by a good friend to try a yoga class at the Henderson Dahn Yoga Center (Nevada). After the hour session was over and I was feeling more alive than I had been in months, I signed up, combining a regular course and a Brain Wave Vibration class twice a week. By the end of the 3rd month, I was no longer using anti-depressants, and credit the movements of the vibration classes and the many skills of Head Instructor JoAnne and her staff toward eliminating 10 years of taking mood-altering prescriptions, and creating a healthier outlook on life. I have used Brain Wave Vibration in my current job, and immediately feel the results from turning my head from side to side. I can’t say enough about Dahn Yoga/Brain Wave Vibration and have recommended it to my adult children and grandchildren in Illinois as a healthy alternative to an inactive lifestyle and too much TV/computer games. Thank you, Dahn Yoga, for returning my life back to me.

After living in many different countries for the last ten years, I arrived in Beaverton, Oregon from Shanghai. Although it has been a life of great adventure and challenges, I had not looked after my body and general health as well as I should have. Before I knew about brain wave vibration, I had my gall bladder removed, chronic gastritis, and lower back pain for many years, and it took a lot of effort each day to just keep the energy I needed. I was often very tired. I now practice Brain Wave Vibration every day and openly share it with those I work with as they have seen a drastic change in me. I take no medication and feel much happier and calm most of the time. Brain Wave Vibration helps your brain stop thinking, which we can do too much of these days. I did not realise I was thinking so much until I stopped. My lower back pain is getting much better and my back is getting stronger. I have developed strength in areas I did not know existed . I have done many sports, yoga, and other activities through the years and this is the most effective way I have experienced to heal your body. I strongly suggest trying Brain Wave Vibration if you are thinking of giving up or have intense, chronic pain as I had. This is a simple, natural place to start no matter which walk or stage of life you are in. You only need to be able to gently shake your head from side to side and/or up and down. The rest follows…..

just joined Dahn yoga in January of 2009. It took one year of research through yoga magazines, books, the Internet and talking to others on the benefits of yoga before I made my decision to join.

Years ago as a child, I was introduced to the concept of yoga by my father. I always felt in my heart that I could use this art to better my life. However, I never knew how. Initially I started doing yoga at home from pictures I cut out of yoga magazines.
Through yoga movements, breathing and poses, I realized that there is so much more to me than meet the eyes. I guess I always knew this but I could never touch it and feel it with my heart.
I began to see that with coaching and direction, I could apply the moves and use them in a way that can help me get in touch with my inner self.

A couple of years ago I went to the lowest level of human existence, which is the feeling of shame and guilt. I was able to pull out of that but I needed more help and guidance. I felt lost.

Joining Dahn Yoga has opened my inner eyes to a part of me I always knew excited but could not fully touch or feel.

I found out that I have been on the “right” path. I realized that I must continue to use my heart as my guide. I found that it has always been my heart that saved me from depression, and anxiety. It has been my heart that has always been there for me. I just never appreciated it the way I do now.

I realized that we are not ever alone.

Doing the shim sung workshop was an amazing experience. I went into it with a goal and came out with so much more than I ever thought possible.

For me it has been confirmed through these classes, the workshops and the guidance of the masters that searching for who I am is an ongoing process, my purpose in life is to continue staying close to my heart and to myself so that I can continue to reach out to others.

I know that all of us human beings on this planet are connected and we all have amazing, giving hearts that needs to be respected, loved and nurtured on daily basis.
I know now that by keeping peace in my heart, I can reach out to so many people. We all have a beautiful inner self. We can use that to help ourselves. Knowing that we are all connected and a part of a much bigger picture, we can lessen the pressures of daily life.

To live life fully, one must embrace the good and the bad and to welcome all that there is.
For without sorrow, there is no joy, without sadness, no happiness and without hate, no love. It is when we embrace it all and laugh all our laughter and cry all of our tears that we know we are one with ourselves and with others. It is only then that we can say we have lived a full life no matter how short or how long the length of our physical existence.
Yoga keeps reminding me on daily basis that I am the master of my life and my body and that every day I have a choice to make my life better or………..

I guess what I am trying to say is that all the knowledge that we need is within us. We just have to listen to our heart and make a choice.

“What arises from your heart can only land on another heart.”"

After receiving a flyer for the Harbor Steps Dahn Yoga Center I was compelled to check it out. Once I experienced the initial check-up it was apparent that my body was out of balance. I knew it was time for me to take responsibility for the condition of my body. I signed up for healings and classes. Soon after that it was recommended that I go to Sedona Margo Garden for Dahn Healer School.

My first visit to Sedona included a lot of physical pain in my body. It was as if being there brought about all the pain my body had ever felt. There were times when I did not think I could stand the pain any longer. I wanted to run away but where could I hide from this pain, I certainly could not run from it. On the third day everything changed. While in class we were given instructions on healing our own bodies. In just one split second it happened. All the pain left me. It was gone my body healed itself. The intestinal pain that was unbearable was gone. Along with that those two whiplashes that had caused me decades of neck and headaches also left me. My knee, my ankle, those injuries that had caused me pain, gone??? Had a miracle occurred? It has been almost three years and none of these past pains have revisited me. Even sleeping patterns have changed allowing me to sleep straight through the night.

When you attend Healer School you meet people from all over the world. They come with a common goal. That common goal is to heal and once you heal your own body you can help to heal others. In Mago Garden you are surrounded by pure unconditional love. It wraps its loving arms around you. On the sacred grounds all this pure loving energy offers perfect healing conditions. They say when a student is ready to learn the teacher comes. In Mago Garden there are many exceptional teachers.

When you balance the energy in your body you then can experience many wonderful things. You soon learn what it feels like to have true inner PEACE!!
I’ve tried a lot of different classes and seen a lot of different types of leaders and teachers here at Dahn Yoga are exceptional. The other thing I like about the class is that we do several different things. We do yoga, we do Tai Chi, we do Brain Vibration and I think the class is absolutely super. I enjoy it. I come here as often as I can on my days off. It’s brought me a new level of calm and internal peace. I can’t imagine a better place to be.

Dahn Yoga has been the best thing that has happened to me in my adult life! Early on, at the age of 4, I began gymnastics and ballet, and continued for almost a decade. I also was in many other sports growing up, such as soccer, tennis, track, volleyball, and many other sports available to a kid in school. Unfortunately, due to a devastating compound fracture in my arm and the medical bills that came with it, I was not able to continue gymnastics after 15 years of age. I began to become much more social, and did not exercise daily, weekly, or even monthly anymore. It was a tremendous change in my life, and I began to lose my tone muscle, and gain lots of weight. At 20, I reached 195 lbs, and had become very overwhelmed with life. My work, home, family and friend relationships suffered from my impending fear and lack of spiritual, physical, mental and emotional health. As I neared 25, I moved from Dallas, Texas to Portland, Oregon, and I found yoga and pilates. It helped, but I was so full of stress and fear from an overabundance of stagnant energy, I had a hard time focusing and keeping myself active. I struggled to find my path, to know where I was meant to be in life. I worked with different types of corporate and retail jobs and sometimes two jobs at once to make ends meet, but still was very unhappy. I had turned 30, I was feeling particularly down on myself for not having done more with my life thus far. I began asking the universe to help me find myself and my path.

A few days later, I found a Dahn Yoga and Tai Chi advertisement in a NY Deli restaurant where I was having lunch. I called that day and set up an appointment in the Beaverton, Oregon center for the next morning. When I walked in, I felt a peace and love exude from the Dahn center and the members. Master Lee took me for my consultation, and though I had told her very little about myself, she knew exactly where I had health and mental problems, and what I needed to get these fixed. I started a 3 week trial, and after one week, I knew I was in the right place. I had tried other yoga centers, but none had the energy circulation, breathing techniques and spiritual meditation needed to help my life. My finances were very limited, and despite knowing I needed the workshops and healing, Master Lee helped me to use the original money from the 3 week trial to extend to a one year contract for the daily classes. Over the next few months I began to grow and feel warmth and peace, similar to the feeling as a child. The physical aspect came fairly easy for me, but focus was difficult, and I struggled with the meditation and breathing. Master Olga from the Portland center helped me with my breathing, learning to breathe through my Dahn jon, rather than just my lungs, which in turn helped my focus immensely. After 5 months with the center, I learned that Master Lee would be leaving to train in a different state. I was very upset, and did not go to class for a few days. Master Ahn had scheduled a private meeting with me, and I went to class for the first time with a new Master. I instantly fell in love with Master Ahn, the love and understanding that she had helped me remember that everything happens for a reason, even if it doesn’t seem like a good thing at the time, it will always help us strive toward our path. That day Master Ahn knew I needed Shim Sung, and helped me to get me into the workshop by finding a a way to work with my financial abilities. The timing was perfect, two weeks later I went through Shim Sung and was enlightened in such a way that can only be felt. I let go of my past dwellings, and was now living for my present in the best way I could. I lost much of my ego and neuroticism, and my husband even said my energy and demeanor as a whole was very appealing! Our relationship, as well as other family and friends has grown in a loving, healthy way that has helped everyone, not just myself.

It has now been about a month since I took the Shim Sung workshop, and I know now that I am meant to become an instructor. Every job I have ever had I have worked well with, but I was never happy, and did not feel as though I belonged. I know now that being active with love and peace in my heart is the way to live, and I want to share this with others. There are so many good people that have been bogged down by Western thinking and society, and I know would benefit from this training. With the economy as bad as it is, I have had much trouble finding a job, and do not have the means to take the BMC training as of yet, but I know that Master Ahn and my husband and family are very supportive, and I don’t just believe, I know that the money will come. Money is not so important as it once was to me, the training and ability to help others is! Through my experience with Dahn Yoga, I have come to know that through my love and devotion all will come as needed, and with peace, love, happiness and a smile, I will work hard to make my dreams come true!

Thank you for the chance to share my story!
