I was first diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2000, although I believe I had been suffering with it for many years. I tried many treatments and medications over the years. They all helped some for hours, come for days, but they were addressing the pain, not the condition.

The condition continued to get worse. I had episodes of “fibro fog where my thoughts and memory were affected. I could no longer get in and out of the car without picking up my legs and putting them in the car. I could walk only short distances; I had trouble sleeping; I was suffering from depression; I could no longer do my job as a visiting nurse. I had no hope!

In 2005 I saw Dr. Flitman for the first time. He put me through a battery of tests and determined again that I had fibromyalgia and a respiratory problem that was affecting my sleep. He started me on a medication that helped me sleep and control some of the pain. I was also seeing a massage therapist and a chiropractor.

My parents died in August and October of 06 and I had a nervous breakdown. So there I was with fibromyalgia and a nervous breakdown. I was now seeing a psychologist and going to a psychiatrist. It all helped short term and probably saved my life.

Then in May of 07, I found Dahn; I could barely walk, my pain level was off the charts, and I was recovering from a nervous breakdown and was on short term disability. I began with healing sessions and partial classes. As I became stronger, I attended classes and special trainings: ShimSung, Healer’s School, More Than Body, Suehaeng Meditation Tour, and Tao Holistic Healing.

Dr. Flitman began noticing a change almost immediately in my range of motion and my mood. There is no cure for fibromyalgia, but, when I saw him in February of 09, Dr. Flitman was amazed; he could find no sign of fibromyalgia. His explanation Dahn Yoga! My final visit was in August of 09. Dr. Flitman called me a miracle and credited Dahn Yoga with the miracle.

My message to you: Don’t give up! Keep going! Keep believing TRUST YOURSELF! Trust the Masters. You too can be a MIRACLE!
